Degree in Economics and Social Psychology from Manchester University and an MBA from Bolton University; a Certified Coach and Counsellor; trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, and Psychometrics (Personality Profiling); currently studying for a Masters in Business Coaching.

Skills & Achievements in Career Guidance

• Extensive experience of managing organisational change and cultural integration in organisations. Margaret has worked in both public and private sectors in fields that include financial services, retail, pharmaceuticals, NHS, FMCG, manufacturing and IT.
• Experience includes career and executive coaching on an individual basis, running group workshops for job search and specialist workshops on networking, assertiveness and confidence building, providing consultant input at resource centres, designing and running assessment centres, using psychometrics, competency based interviewing and 360 degree feedback

Experience in Career Guidance

With a background in Blue-Chip HR and Grant Thornton Management Consultancy, Margaret has been a freelance Organisational and Career Coach since 1991. She also operates as an Associate Career Coach for Chiumento having previously worked in partnership with Penna’s Career Transition team for nine years.

Her initial career guidance successes came from running Job Review Workshops for unemployed managers and supervisors in Chester and Flintshire where she gained a reputation for inspiring and motivating professional job seekers resulting in nominations for the North West Woman of Achievement Award and Chester Business Woman of the Year.
