I have played Basketball in the National Women’s League, I enjoy belly dancing to keep fit and also clay pigeon shooting. I am an active member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and enjoy networking and socialising.

Skills & Achievements in Career Guidance

Excellent communication skills and passionate about assisting people to provide them with the skills to progress their careers and improve their performance at interviews. Candidates returned to me over the years again and again when they were due to make a further career move for continued advice, guidance and help with CV writing and Interview preparation. Having had a long career myself within the recruitment market, I have seen changes occur in the way organisations recruit and the techniques they use to screen applicants.

Having worked on-site within an HR department for Merrill Lynch Investment Bank and been in charge of all temporary recruitment across finance and operations, I have an insight into how the process works from the other side, thus giving me the best possible knowledge with which to advise would-be candidates on how best to present themselves on paper and in an interview scenario.

Experience in Career Guidance

Having worked in recruitment for over 8 years across a range of different career disciplines including accountancy & finance, administration and support staff and sales and marketing I have a broad experience of working with people at all levels and backgrounds to advise on CV writing, Career Development and Interview Preparation. In the past 18 months alone I have assisted some 352 candidates on a one-to-one basis and have worked with over 2000 candidates in total.
