Liz is an experienced and enthusiastic careers professional with a history of working in both the Commercial and Further Education Sectors. She has an intuitive, empathetic and down to earth style, quickly helping her clients to identify and achieve their learning and work related goals. Liz’s current projects include career coaching, career guidance within further education and organising CPD events for a membership organisation.

Liz has been an active voluntary member of NAEGA (the National Association for Educational Guidance for Adults) for a number of years and sits as a Regional Director on the National Board. She Chairs NAEGA East which requires her to co-ordinate a small team of volunteers to organise and book events and speakers for CPD events for members.

Liz has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance; she holds the BPS Level A Certificate in Psychometric Assessment and is qualified in the Morrisby Profile. Over the last 3 years Liz has gained Diploma’s in Coaching and NLP

Skills & Achievements in Career Guidance

Liz has had twenty years experience of working as a Guidance Professional to young people and adults. The majority of this experience has been gained in a further education setting and has involved working closely with individuals and groups to support and encourage them in their goals to seek work or learning opportunities, helping them to plan a course of action that is achievable.

She completed a Diploma in Coaching in 2006 and an NLP Diploma in 2007 and the skills and knowledge she has gained from this work has allowed her to help and support individuals in making sustainable changes in their lives and is helpful in building positive and future focused relationships with people focusing on goal attainment and progression.
