Experience in Career Guidance

Ruth has 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, helping men and women of all ages and backgrounds to identify and maximise opportunities and identify relevant skills for the workplace – from students and graduates embarking on their career to women returning to the workplace, professionals and executives.

She has worked with clients from a broad range of industries such as teachers, senior lecturers, project managers, IT professionals, nurses and sales executives. Ruth’s corporate clients include the University of Manchester, NHS Trusts, Cegos UK Ltd, Rothschilds, Selfridges and Barclays Bank, Warwick Business School.

After post-graduate training in Careers Guidance and working as a Careers Adviser with clients of all ages and backgrounds, Ruth then moved into managing projects aimed at increasing the confidence, motivation and employment prospects of participants. More recently she has been involved in training and assessing Careers professionals.
Ruth launched her own Career Consultancy in 2000.
