Skills & Achievements in Career Guidance

I have successfully managed adult guidance projects and supported clients to realise their career aims. As well as having extensive experience in careers guidance activities with adults, involving work with clients on an individual basis and in groups, I have also taken a key role in working with Human Resources personnel in companies to support adult employees going through a redundancy situation.

One of my major achievements was the design, promotion and marketing of a redundancy and outplacement programme. This was successfully delivered in a variety of organisations including a major chemical company, a biscuit manufacturer and local education authorities. In 2007, I successfully exhibited this programme at the international CIPD conference in Harrogate. I have also delivered an accredited advice and guidance course to community based workers and designed and maintained a website aimed exclusively at adults requiring careers guidance.
