I recently requested Jon (Acsol Ltd) to source an Optical Assistant for one of our optical practices. Jon was extremely thorough in gaining an understanding of the qualities and experience we required to ensure he found the right person to join our team. Jon communicated every step of the way keeping me informed of applicants and feedback from his initial face to face interviews. Only when he was confident he had recruited applicants that fully met our requirements did he arrange final interviews with me. Jon dealt with the whole process of recruitment efficiently and in a timely manner, constantly updating me. Simple and painless process
Jon recently assisted with the recruitment of a new production manager for my company. His work involved sifting through potential candidates, conducting initial telephone interviews, carrying out face-to-face interviews with the ‘long list’ and producing a shortlist of three which I could meet myself. Jon took care of the majority of the recruitment process leaving me to run my business, only taking over for the final furlong. Jon regularly fed back to me on his activities throughout and made the whole process simple and painless.
Approachable, friendly, honest
Jon recently contacted me about a position he was recruiting for. He arranged to meet me to assess my suitability for the position prior to recommending me; as I don't drive he arranged to meet me at a venue located about 10 minutes walk from my home address. When I met Jon he was approachable, friendly, honest and unassuming - and he paid for the beverages! Jon told me he was planning on recommending me for the position and within a week I was contacted regarding an interview. Jon stayed in contact during this period, offering invaluable advice, guidance and an impartial opinion. I attended an interview two days later and then received a job offer, subject to references, which I was asked to send to Jon to process. Within an hour of sending him an email containing my reference information, I had received an email informing me that all had gone well, with an attachment of an employment contract. Overall I would say that Jon is honest, reliable, dedicated and a genuinely nice person. I would definitely recommend him to any prospective employer or employee and guarantee you will not go far wrong in working with him!
An unsung hero
Jon has worked tirelessly and consistently to provide a job finding service to Vulnerable Ex Service Veterans and has helped the RFEA to place quite literally hundreds of veterans in sustainable employment. He has been a great help to our Charity in general and me in particular. It is difficult to find the words to describe the benefit our Veterans have received from Jon. An unsung hero in the development of the lives of many vulnerable people. I look forward to continued advice and guidance from Jon who has given more of his time than we should have asked for or hoped to receive.
